Morning light on the water, a glass of something cold, breakfast that runs long into lunch. A boutique restaurant and champagne bar on the Hvar waterfront, classic and unhurried, looking straight out over the harbour to the island.
It is being built now. Here is the mood we are drawing it to.
Front-line to the port of Hvar, with the fishing boats and yachts on the water and the island beyond. The terrace catches the morning and holds it, the closest a glass and a plate get to the Adriatic in town.
By day, coffee and champagne over a slow breakfast. By evening, the light turns gold over the water and the whole town drifts past below.
