Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: 23 September 2026

This policy explains what personal information Salve Pharia collects through this website, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. We have written it to be read, not to hide behind jargon.

Who we are

This website is operated by Salve Pharia d.o.o. ("we", "us", "our"), the controller of the personal data described below.

What we collect, and why

When you send an enquiry. Our enquiry and contact forms ask for the details we need to reply and arrange a stay: typically your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you tell us about your enquiry (dates, party size, preferences). We use this only to respond to you and to arrange the booking you have asked about.

Website analytics. With your consent, we run privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are viewed and how people move through them. This is aggregate and anonymous: we do not build a profile of you, we do not store your IP address in it, and we do not share it with advertisers. It runs only if you click "Accept" on the cookie notice; if you decline, it does not run at all.

Server logs. Like all websites, our hosting keeps standard technical logs (including IP addresses) for a short period, to keep the site secure and running. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security and operation of the site.

Cookies and similar technology

We keep this deliberately minimal:

We use no advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, and no third-party marketing pixels.

Who else is involved

To run the site we rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

Data leaving the EU

Some of the providers above (Formspree, Google) are based in the United States, so limited data may be processed there under the safeguards those providers offer. If you would rather not have your enquiry handled through the form, you can email us directly at [email protected].

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw any consent you have given (including for analytics, using the buttons above). To exercise any of these, email [email protected].

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you may complain to the Croatian data protection authority, the Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP), at azop.hr.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
