Seven o'clock, and the light comes in low across the terrace. Coffee, the last of the cool air, the harbour bells carrying up from the town below. Nobody else is awake yet. The day is entirely yours.

The pool holds the sky. Cicadas start up in the pines. Lunch runs long on the shaded terrace, the Pakleni islands hazy on the water, and there is nowhere at all you need to be.

Cool stone underfoot, shutters half-drawn, the sea a bright line through every window. The house breathes with the afternoon. You move through it slowly, the way you would somewhere you already know.

A drink in hand, the terrace warm underfoot, the town lights waking up along the water. This is the part you'll try to describe later and won't quite manage. You had to be here.

Tell us your dates and who's coming. We'll take care of the rest, the way we would for our own guests.
